His 2003 projects included Bhoot, a sleeper hit, and Gangaajal, in which he received another Filmfare Best Actor nomination for enacting a police officer. As the antagonist of Deewangee, he earned a Filmfare Best Villain Award. He won his second National Award for portraying revolutionary Bhagat Singh in The Legend of Bhagat Singh and received the Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actor for it and Company. Ģ002 proved to be a banner year for Devgn as he received universal acclaim for his performances in Company, The Legend of Bhagat Singh and Deewangee. He got a Filmfare Best Supporting Actor nomination for enacting a dacoit in the ensemble film Lajja (2001). In 2000, Devgn started Ajay Devgn FFilms and produced and headlined the commercially unsuccessful Raju Chacha. His performance in Zakhm (1998) secured Devgn his first National Film Award for Best Actor.
He garnered Filmfare Best Actor nominations for Naajayaz and Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. His subsequent hits include Suhaag (1994), Dilwale (1994), Diljale (1996), Jaan (1996), Ishq (1997), Pyaar To Hona Hi Tha (1998), and Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam (1999). Devgn then played a kickboxer in the martial arts film Jigar (1992) and a blind in Vijaypath (1994). He debuted as an actor in Phool Aur Kaante (1991), which won him the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut. There isn't any dull moment in the movie.Devgn at an event for his film Drishyam in 2015Ījay Devgn is an Indian actor, director and producer who works in Hindi films. If you ignore all these logical mistakes and watch the movie, you will enjoy it a lot. There are many other loop holes that you can see on YouTube. Then only remaining scenes would have made sense. His financial situation would have been improved. Ideally our hero should have showcased that car to get some job as car designer. This is the biggest flaw in the story according to me. His garage boss also doesn't say anything. Then after making the car what our hero does? Starts roaming in the city in the car. But he finances our hero to build the car? Why? Emotions? Doesn't make sense. His boss in garage is very strict and can deduct salary for any uninformed leave. Our hero is a college student who is struggling to meet his daily needs. Then why the most didn't work? Because of illogical sequences and many loop holes. The movie concept is not ideal for promotion. The car didn't become famous as the movie didn't work. That movie became superhit but this movie was a disaster. Another movie was released just few days after this movie and promoted bikes(Dhoom). Also, car generates too much of smoke at very speed. Of course that happens because of the ghost but then the actual abilities of the car get hidden. The movie shows that car repairs itself, it goes sideways, does some acrobatic stunts. One for showcasing car abilities like power, comfort, style etc and another for the concept of car driven by a ghost (2 movies). Ideally there should have been 2 different stories made. The man returns as a ghost, uses this car to take revenge. A car designer is killed by some cunning business men his car. But the concept they choose to promote the car is wrong. This movie was made to showcase the car and the car seriously looks awesome.
